Wood Siding
If you place a metal and wood toy on the floor next to a child, he or she will reach for the wood one and play with it longer. There’s no substitute for the real thing. Wood makes up renewable, durable and structural products, and it’s easily made into shapes and forms. It’s also the backbone of construction.

Paulownia Siding
Coming mainly from Chile, Paulownia can be used for a substitute for red wood and exterior trim on a home. Technically, it can be considered an engineered product, as it’s made from every last part of the tree. Paulownia excels in both wet and dry environments. It comes in half by six feet, half by eight feet and three-quarter by 10 feet
Barn Siding
Also known as “pattern stock,” Barn Siding comes in tongue-in-groove and v-groove patterns. People like to use it in ways that show off the rustic beauty of the wood, including decorative ceilings or walls. It comes in one-by-six-inch and one-by-eight-inch planks up to 16 feet long.
Cedar Siding
For a distinct look that’s also durable, Lyndhurst Lumber recommends Cedar Siding for exterior use in homes. It’s particularly effective for handrails and clapboard siding. It comes in half by six feet, half by eight feet and three-quarter by 10 feet, in both lap siding and channel siding.
Drop Siding
Known for it's scallop to flattened edge, this tongue and groove siding is historically found on many garages in our area.
